Clara left a career in corporate law to start Banner Day Interiors when she realized that legal research and courtroom appearances didn't satisfy her creative desires. Today, she pursues her passion for design by working with both institutional and residential clients to transform ordinary rooms into stylish spaces. Her goal with each engagement is to provide a comfortable place for her clients to live and/or work. Originally from Los Angeles, Clara attended UC Berkeley and fell in love with the charm of Berkeley. Shortly after graduating, she joined the Peace Corps in Nepal teaching English. Subsequently, after surviving a couple of winters in Michigan while attending University of Michigan Law School, she returned to the Bay Area where it felt almost balmy. When not working, she loves wine tasting, snowboarding and trying to get current on New Yorkers.
